Construction trucks are coming back in the Canadian construction industry, as the province is ramping up construction projects and adding to the nation’s already high construction industry.
In a press release Monday, the Ministry of Transportation said there were about 50,000 construction jobs in Canada in 2017, which is about 1.3 per cent of all jobs in the country.
The number of construction jobs has increased by about 15 per cent since 2014.
Construction workers are expected to have to get a permit from the Ministry before they can build a new home, according to the release.
It’s expected construction trucks will be rolling out of the facility at the end of this month.
